01The Brief

NCG Warehouse Solutions is part of Lyceum Global, with more than 30,000 sq ft of storage and a fleet that covers the whole island. The operations were impressive, but the website didn’t live up to them.

The redesign gives a complex logistics business a website where capacity is clear, tenders are easy to find and visitors trust the company from the first glance.

Problem

Information about capacity, services and tenders was hidden away in PDFs and unclear pages, so the site didn’t show how capable NCG really is.

Goal

Show what the warehouse can do, make it easier to find and submit tenders, reflect the Lyceum Global brand and work for people with any level of technical experience.

Audience

Corporate clients who need to know about capacity, service agreements and tender deadlines, vendors bidding on tenders, and job applicants browsing on their phones.

68% of users struggled to find tender documents, capacity details were buried in PDFs, and mobile visitors, who made up 42% of traffic, left the site 73% more often.

02Research & Insights

Research with 47 people, including corporate buyers, vendors and job applicants, turned vague complaints into a clear picture of where the old site was letting people down.

  • Warehouse capacity buried in PDFs
  • Mobile users bounced 73% more often
Design response

Hardest Part

Explaining warehouse operations with many layers without overwhelming people. The answer was an overview that lets people dig deeper when they want to.

What I Learned

Complicated industrial operations become easy to understand when you turn the information into something visual and interactive.

Next Steps

Connecting to the ERP system, adding AR tours of the warehouse, and supporting Sinhala and Tamil.
